Some of the best new clients come as referrals from existing clients. Keeping clients happy means proving the value we add, every single day.
“Financial knowledge is power”- I have heard Patti say it numerous times. Patti arms her clients with financial information which in turn enables her client to make wise financial decisions and take an honest approach regarding their business. From the first day that I met Patti she has been a valuable asset to me personally, and our business. Her vast knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting has been one of the best business decisions we have made in our 20 years of owning a small business. Patti’s approach is very detailed and yet efficient. She welcomes client involvement in the day to day bookkeeping needs, or will handle it all independently. I felt very comfortable handing over our financial information to Patti, knowing the information would be kept confidential and she would meet important payroll and tax deadlines. I had the experience of having Patti assist me during a routine state audit of our books. Her expertise and organization before and during the audit process brought an outcome of a superior audit that was “very complete” in the eyes of the state auditor who performed it. Patti’s detail and knowledge in the bookkeeping and accounting field will be an enormous asset to any business, it has been and continues to be in mine.

I had the great pleasure of working with Patti in her role as company controller at Questline. She is a skilled professional who is conscientious and detail-oriented. She played an important role in helping Questline receive the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies in America award for seven consecutive years. It really helps to have a controller with an entrepreneurial spirit who is also strongly motivated to see the company succeed. For these and many other positive reasons, I can highly recommend her services.

Patti is someone that I enthusiastically recommend. She was an incredible resource in helping to manage and direct the growth at Questline.
She immersed herself in many important projects at Questline (e.g., Salesforce customization, client reporting, contract management and tracking, financial forecasting, etc.) and was an incredible asset in directing and pushing these initiatives to completion. Without Patti's financial and accounting knowledge and expertise, I would not have been able to effectively lead the account management team and direct the growth of the company.
Patti would be an outstanding addition to any company in helping them get to the next level in terms of their financial processes and procedures. She is the consummate professional and always supports the team while helping to build a positive culture. I miss working with Patti and benefiting from her expertise, leadership and great demeanor.

One of the first questions we ask our clients is, “What are your business goals? What keeps you up at night?”
This drives everything that we recommend and implement for them. Maybe it’s going from an old green-screen accounting system that they’ve had for 20 years to QuickBooks. Maybe it’s growing their business to the point that they can sell it and start another business. Maybe it’s having well documented processes so that they aren’t worried about a key employee being hit by a pickle truck.
Knowing our client’s end game seems basic, but it’s often overlooked, and many times, small business owners get so caught up in the day-to-day, that they don’t have time to think about the big picture. They get distracted by the issues right in front of them, and never get back to the all-important review, reflection, and strategy.
Or worse yet, they focus on the things they know and do well, and ignore the other stuff, hoping that it will all just work out for the best. By knowing where they want to go, we can keep them focused on the prize.
